Day One (prologue) Video



Day 1 (prologue): Chris Birch had a smooth run through the prologue, gaining first in the ride out order.

Day 2: NZ's Chris Birch had a really tough day, but not quite as bad as Taddy Blazusiak, who has pulled out due to injury, after an incedent with a "really big tree".

Day 3: Birchy had a far better day, Graeme Jarvis however did not, running out of fuel and costing him a lot of time.

Day 4: Chris had another difficult day, losing a lot of time with bike problems on the notorious 'Cambodia' rocky uphill. Chris was fortunately assisted by Riaan Van Niekerk who selflessly swapped bike parts until Chris was able to continue. We understand Chris still holds the overall lead, but Littenbichler is closing the time gap as Chris struggles with his bike.

Day 5: Birchy rode blazingly fast, gaining 6 minutes on Jarvis and holding him off for the overall win.

New Zealander Adrian Broughton won the Expert Single class with a time of 31:06:37.
