HELMETS

FLY Lite Helmet
Tyler Evans Replica

I’ve been wearing the FLY Lite Tyler Evans Replica helmet for a few months now and I’m pretty happy with. It’s nice and comfortable and cups the back of my head giving a safe and secure feeling. The shell is of a carbon fibre/kevlar construction and the matte black finish and custom paint job looks awesome with all of its detail. I’ve had a few spills with the replica lid on, and have come through the other side without a sore head and the peak still in tact. The quick-snap liner and check pads are easy to remove to make washing a breeze. This has actually encouraged me to keep the inside of the FLY Lite helmet smelling fresh and clean.  Josh

Fox V3 Helmet
Five out of Five

I’ve had my blue and white Fox V3 lid for six months now and it’s still going strong. Not only is it one of the best fitting helmets I’ve worn, it one of the most enduring lids I’ve had. It’s been drenched in mud, copped a tree branch (or 10), blasted by sand, clay, pine needles and whatever else the boys have roosted me with, and it still comes up like new after a bit of spit and polish. The lining has been washed more times than I care to remember and it stills fits perfectly and comes up clean as. The other great thing about the V3 is my Scott NoSweat Xi goggles fit perfectly in the aperture, so my face is completely protected from the worst of the elements. Five out of five for Fox.        Fraser

One Industries Trooper Helmet
Contact: A dealer near you or Crown Kiwi Enterprises.

This helmet joined my squad just over a year ago, but you wouldn’t think it to look at it. The fact that I just love the Trooper’s sharp paintjob has seen me lavish it with extra TLC after every ride (Motorex Helmet Care was my prime ally here), one of the reasons it still looks this good. The plush liner has held up well too, not packing out after many serious hours in the trenches (well ruts really) so it still fits properly and it still has a quality feel to it. I’ve also worn a variety of goggles (Scott, Smith and Dragon) with this lid and they all interface with the Trooper’s aperture no worries. Sure, at just over five-hundy the Trooper’s hangs out in the officers’ mess, but I’m a firm believer in getting what you pay for and the One Industries scores a victory here no worries. 9/10
